How Google Play Protect Works?

Google introduced Google Play Protect, a new security feature that scans all available apps in Google Play Store. It also scans and notifies about any bad apps downloaded from other sources. Google Play Protect is built in with the google play. It gets updated automatically same as google play store. You don’t need to check or scan explicitly spending your valuable time. Of course, there is an option to check or scan manually whenever you feel.

Google Play Protect scans 50 billion apps daily to keep up the security, it’s machine learning algorithms analyzes and finds vulnerabilities in apps and take action accordingly. It keeps an eye on the installed apps on your device and warns you if any app behaves abnormally.

To find out whether your device has the feature, Find it in Settings<Google Settings. It runs automatically in the background always keeping your device secure.

Find my device is also added built-in with Google play protect. You can lock, ring, erase your lost device with this feature.Safe browsing is added to chrome to surf web safely, it warns you to get back to safety if it finds any website malicious or harmful.
