Availability feature in Truecaller app lets you know the status of the person you are about to call. The red dot indicates the person is busy on other call or the device is in silent mode. A green dot next to the contact indicates the caller is available and free to talk. You can check status and decide whether to call or not. This saves your effort and energy. Most of the times Truecaller shows the status alright, but not with 100% accuracy. In order to see the status, other callers must have truecaller installed and availability feature enabled.
